Everything you need to know about insurance coverage, service areas, and how we build your personalized care plan.
Yes. CareHome is fully certified to accept Medicare Part A and Part B for eligible skilled nursing and therapy services. We also work with Medicaid programs in all states where we operate. Our insurance specialists will verify your benefits before care begins — at no cost to you.
We are in-network with most major private insurers, including Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Humana, among others. If you're unsure whether your plan qualifies, call our billing team and we'll run a free eligibility check within 24 hours.
Out-of-pocket costs vary based on your insurance plan's deductibles, co-pays, and coverage limits. Many patients pay little to nothing when fully covered by Medicare. We provide a transparent cost estimate before starting any care plan so there are never surprise bills.
We currently serve the greater metropolitan areas of Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, and surrounding counties. Our network is expanding monthly. Enter your zip code on our scheduling form to confirm same-week availability in your neighborhood.
Absolutely. Our caregivers travel to private residences, assisted living communities, retirement villages, and skilled nursing facilities. Wherever you or your loved one call home, we can meet you there.
In most coverage areas we can schedule an initial assessment visit within 24–48 hours and have a matched caregiver begin care within 3–5 business days. For urgent situations, same-day emergency placement may be available — please call our 24/7 hotline.
A registered nurse conducts an in-home clinical assessment — typically lasting 60–90 minutes — covering your medical history, current conditions, mobility, daily living needs, and personal preferences. The resulting care plan is built collaboratively with you, your family, and your primary physician.
Yes, and we encourage it. Care needs evolve, so your plan is reviewed every 60 days at minimum, or sooner if your condition changes. You can request an updated assessment at any time with no additional fee.
Care plans can include skilled nursing visits, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, remote health monitoring, medication management, wound care, chronic disease management (diabetes, COPD, heart failure), and assistance with daily living activities. We tailor each plan to the individual.
